Christmas Eve 1967
Just listening to a message from Martin Luther King Jr. on Christmas Eve, 1967 at Ebenezer Baptist Church. What an incredibly inspiring man. When he speaks, you just kinda sit up and listen. So much to think about. So much to remember to do. So much to learn from his life and messages.
And in the background, you can hear his dad, encouraging him throughout his talk, and it's hard to know, just three months after that, he was in the same place, at his son's funeral.
It seems especially fitting to listen to this, this week, when so many people I know are having a rough Christmas season, to hear this encouragement and hope from such a great mind and heart. And remember what Peace On Earth is all about.
You can listen too, right here if you'd like.
Merry Christmas.
